Steven, now based in Peterborough, is an Ajax/Pickering Raiders graduate, OJHL alumnus (Whitby Fury/Wellington Dukes, 2009–2013), USPORTS alumnus (Nipissing, 2014–2018), and current professional hockey player. Following his university career and bachelor’s degree, he signed his first pro contract in Germany for the 2018–19 season. He has since played six seasons in the DEL2 and Oberliga, most recently serving as captain of the Bad Tölz Lions.
Over the past three offseasons, Steven has worked as a skills coach and mentor, training young athletes through hockey schools in the Durham region and supporting Ajax/Pickering Raiders teams from Bantam through Midget.
